ant-gcj software package provides Java based build tool like make (GCJ), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ant-gcj
ant-gcj is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ant-gcj package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ant-gcj *
You will get with ant-gcj package name, version, architecture and description in a table
